The Department of Family Welfare invited Dr. Prasanta Mahapatra, Director, IHS, to present the Community Health Insurance based Family Protection Plan at the workshop on 11th June 2003 at Magnolia Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The scheme was developed by the IHS for the Department of Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
