an health insurance scheme. The
objective of the project is to design and develop
Community Health Insurance and Family Protections Plans for
India. The project is funded by Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, Government of India. | |

- To study and understand health insurance schemes being
implemented in different parts of the country.
- Review of literature: Study of available literature on
Health Insurance.
- Develop the CHIFHP policy document.

| Swablamby
Swasthya Yojana (SSY) a Health Insurance Scheme which is being
implemented at Ratlam district was studied.
Submitted the CHIFHP on 29-03-2003, to the Department of
Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Government of India for its consideration.
